Guitar Hero World Tour

The official release of Guitar Hero World Tour was on Sunday, this is the fourth installment of the popular game. As you’ve seen it on TV it now incorporates percussion & vocals, not bad. Those do complete the band huh? Now you and your friends can play… if they’re not cool with the guitar, they can try their hands on the drum set or the microphone.

I went over to one of the user forums and found out that there was an issue with the drums. This game version senses if you tap the drums softly or in a hard manner… depending on what the tap strength need be for the game level. Now users say the drum isn’t sensitive enough, while others say the drums are too sensitive. Go figure.

Activision has acknowledged these issues and is now working hard to fix them. And as a result, will be subjecting drums exiting the assembly line for fine tuning. I think they will be releasing a tuning patch soon too, just in case.

Don’t let that stop you from getting your fair share of fun though.
