If there is one book in this world that could be a documented proof of people’ s geekiness, it would probably be the high school yearbook. Â Elementary yearbooks are more forgiving since these are children we are talking about here. Â Unfortunately, high school isn’t that way. Â People can be as pressured as they were in their teens when their geeky high school pictures surface in the present time.
Yearbooks document student life like nothing else do. Â It contains accomplishments, shining moments, and even embarrassing moments that will be the subject of many laughs many years after. Â It also captures a student’s fashion statement at that certain point in time.
This is where much of the geekiness comes in particularly in the hair, clothes, and even the pose that seems to put the subjects in a certain period in time. Â The thing with yearbook pictures is that they seldom catch the subjects in their most flattering angles. Â Mos of the time, the opposite is achieved.
Big hair, braces, over-sized glasses, loud hair colors, and crazy clothes combination all seemed a good idea during the picture taking until they haunt people just when they have gone through their worst fashion days and settled for more mainstream choices.  Everyone will have at some point be photographed looking like a geek.  This is simply part of growing up.
It is worth saying that memories brought back by yearbooks are those of warm geekiness. Â These were days when life was much simpler and the main problem was what clothes to wear or what hairstyle to choose. Â These were the days when people didn’t even realize they would look geeky after a few years.
