Hot on the heels of the release of Internet Explorer 7, its closest rival Firefox will be releasing its newest version (ver. 2) on Tuesday.Mozilla Foundation officials said that the new release of the popular browser will have some new features as well as a good solution to the very pesky memory leak issues that have plagued the earlier version of the browser. Some of the other features that are included with version 2 of Firefox includes more protection against phishing by reporting whether a website is malicious or not; session saving; improved web feed access, and; spell checking.
Development of Firefox 2 has been going on for quite some time now and its release has been anticipated by Firefox fans who have already installed and tried the earlier release candidates for the browser.
There is a growing number of people who are turning to Firefox as their main internet browser and this has actually been noticed by Microsoft.
