Cooking has got to be one of the most relaxing things that you can engage in. Even after a long day at work, just fiddling around in the kitchen can help you melt all that stress away. Not to mention the fact that you have something wonderful to look forward to when you’re done!

Add to this the fact that the media is also placing a lot of attention on cooking and recipes, it is thus no big surprise that more and more people are spending their time discovering different things to make in the kitchen. With the abundance of celebrity chefs, their own cooking shows, and recipe portals, the average person also gets more enticed to experiment more than usual with their cooking.

The trend, in fact, is for people to make these recipe web sites their go-to solution when in need of ideas for dishes. Even those who are already experienced in the kitchen still make it a point to visit recipe and cooking web sites for inspiration. And when it comes to recipe web sites, there is a ton to choose from. There is, however, a new player in the scene which can give you more than your usual recipe web site: Recipe Finder.

Recipe Finder is a search engine that specializes in bringing you the best recipes found online. It has the largest collection of recipes – over a million of them! And in spite of this humongous collection, you can still find your desired recipe very quickly. Finding a recipe is a simple matter of entering the recipe name or the main ingredient. But if you want things to be more specific, you can also narrow down your search by indicating ingredients that you want to be excluded, calorie count, cook time, and the number of servings. You also have control over how you want the recipe results to be displayed – either as text or as images.

The recipe search engine is not simply about discovering recipes. It also gives you some help in the organizational front via two features. One, you have the menu feature, which allows you to create your own menu. This can include the appetizer, main courses, and dessert. Two, you have the calendar feature, which helps you plan entire meals in advance.

Recipe Finder does not overlook the social aspect that many users look for today. For recipes that are simply too good to keep to yourself, they can be shared via different platforms. More so, the recipes can also be printed out – the perfect choice for those who still want hard copies!

Star Wars Apron

February 22, 2010 By noemi

Try telling me that isn’t cool, and I’ll most likely ask you what’s wrong with you! I have to say right now that I am NOT a Star Wars fan. I love Star Trek to death, but I never really got into Star Wars. (Yeah, what’s wrong with me???)

Anyway, having said that, I think that you should believe me when I say that this apron is awesome. I love to cook – well, at least what passes for cooking – and one problem that I always have is that I do not have an apron to keep my clothes dry and clean. I do have a couple lying around somewhere but I guess they never get used so they get lost underneath the pile of whatever is in my closet.

If I had one of these aprons, though, I would definitely wear it all the time!

One reason: It’s black. It will hide all the gross that stuff that you tend to get all over your clothes when cooking. That means I do not have to do laundry as often as I should!

Another reason: “Come to the dark side, we love cookies” is printed on the front of the apron. How cool is that? I love cookies even if I can’t bake them. Who’s to stop you from wearing an apron that professes your love for cookies, though?

Last reason: It’s quite reasonably priced. For a mere $19.99, you can get your hands on one of these babies. The conversation piece is more than worth it!
