For the Record, Geeks are Not Nerds

February 22, 2007 By gecko

A geek is often associated as a nerd when in fact they are entirely different from one another. A geek is someone who is fascinated by something coming from his imagination, something to which he can effectively broaden and emphasize. Most of his reasoning are based on his point of view, something that bloggers would
readily be associated with.

A nerd, on the other hand, is someone who is masterfully gifted with knowledge and brains, making him wise at most things that he undertakes. Over time, both have been associated with one another, usually from name calling to which people would care less about what each would really mean.

To this day, the difference between the two has not been emphasized, for the reason that some people really don’t care. Either way, both would be a complement of sorts, since their actual definitions are rolled into one. Intelligence and passion once combined are great ingredients for success and fame if used wisely.
