Higher Capacity USB Drives

February 4, 2007 By gecko

Aiming to achieve the portability of hard disk drives, the introduction of different mobile hard disks in the market to answer this demand did not really gather the type of satisfaction and demand that storage manufacturing companies aimed for. Today, these have gone as far as introducing USB drives with higher capacities as each year progresses.

USB Drive Storage

While the idea may seem crazy, imagine a USB drive with the capacity to hold 5 to 10 gigabyte of date. Isn’t this almost the same as holding an entire operating system with the basic applications today? People may point towards the age of downloadable videos and music, but brushing off these files; such developments would really make a person wonder.

A whole operating system in one pendant type of mini gadget is something to be amazed at. Some time ago people were jawing for the possibility of such developments and now that it is here, it has totally been forgotten. Perhaps the influx of large file sizes has taken the better of people today. Forgotten are the insights that most people shared some time ago.
